I began collecting wine about twenty-five years ago and today maintain a collection of nearly 6,000 bottles. I also love fine glass stemware and other artistic expressions in glass. And finally, I began purchasing small silver pieces and both antique and modern silver flatware about fifteen years ago.
These interests, starting with wine, led me to purchase my first Claret Jug in the 1980s. Like any collector, as I began to learn more, I started selling off some of my early purchases. I have learned a lot, but could have only created this collection with a lot of professional help.
I have developed a real passion for these exquisite pieces of art, but wanted to share their beauty with others. That's why I decided to go on the World Wide Web. These jugs are not for sale, but I am always interested in hearing about and even purchasing world-class jugs.
I intend to maintain my autonomy, but would be most interested in hearing from you either on your own collection or interest or even if you think you might have something I may be interested in. Any potential purchase would be through a third party professional.
