A Victorian silver-mounted rhinoceros horn claret jug. Mark of Henry William Dee, London, 1878. Tapering cylindrical, the horn jug applied with silver straps pierced with arrows, the circular foot mount terminating in rhinoceros feet, with angular handle, the hinged cover formed as a rhinoceros head, marked on foot, handle, neck mount and cover, also engraved on base 23 Bl des Capucines Paris JONES. 44 St. James's St. London. Ht. 12-1/2"
